Bible Study Opportunities
Sunday School
Sunday - 9:45 A.M
Our Sunday morning small groups meet from 9:45 until 10:45 where we study the Word of God together. Over the course of the year our students will study topics such as the the existence of God, the reliability of Scripture, the Trinity, suffering, and spiritual warfare. Our groups are split 7th-8th grades and 9th-12th grades.
Sunday Evening
Sunday - 5:00 - 6:30
On Sunday evenings we gather together to study through the Bible. We begin all together to look at a passage from scripture, then split into small groups to take a closer look at the passage and how we can apply it to our lives today.
Our current study is the book Not My Jesus by Shane Pruitt. Like most of us, teens have an opinion about who Jesus is. Some want to make Him the mascot of their cause. Others want to treat Him like a genie in a bottle, waiting hand and foot to grant their requests. And still others see Him as distant and unconcerned with our world. All too often, people allow their opinions about Jesus to shape their beliefs about Him. The truth is our opinions about Jesus don’t change who He is. But faith in the real Jesus of the Bible will change everything about who we are. Are you ready to meet the true Jesus? Are you ready to have your life changed?
Everything we know about the true Jesus comes from the Bible. Only this Jesus can truly save and transform lives. Our opinion about Jesus doesn’t change who He is; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. However, our faith in the true Jesus will absolutely change who we are.
This study will run from September - November 2025.
Midweek
Wednesday - 6:15 - 7:30
The Old Testament is full of people and history those who grew up in church are familiar with. However, there is much depth in these passages of Scripture that are often overlooked in the Children's Bibles we may have read growing up.
This study seeks to dig down deep into the Old Testament history to find the details we may have missed the first times reading about them. Building a strong foundation on these experiences and the people of the Bible helps to build a stronger faith in God and helps to see the story of Jesus present in all of Scripture.
This study will run through the fall and spring semesters of 2025-26.
