Worship

What is worship and why is it important? In a nutshell, worship is our devotion to God through every aspect of our lives, through hearing God's word proclaimed in our lives, to prayer, in praise, and in obedience. Worship is the hearts attempt to be in right relationship with God because He is our greatest affection. All of creation has been designed to worship the Creator, the One who is worthy of our worship. Worship is a verb; it is a lifestyle; it is the thing that fills up the heart and overflows out through our hands as we give glory to God. Worship is the compass that directs our travels to the greatest destination in the world, eternal life with Jesus our Lord and God our Father. Enjoy this sermon series Rev. Matt Carr led on the subject of worship.
