Kids For Christ - Children's Ministry
Our Purpose
To nurture and guide children in their faith, teaching them about Jesus, the Bible, and Christian values, ultimately helping them become committed followers of Christ and active citizens of God’s kingdom.
Minister of Children

Nursery
Sunday Mornings and Evenings: Our 0 - 2 yr olds are taken care of by different teams each week, made up by the members of First Baptist Church. The nursery is located on our Preschool Hallway.
Wednesday Evenings: Our 0-3 yr olds are taken care of by two paid young adult women along with our Preschool Director, Debbie Harris.

Children's Church
Sunday mornings during worship services our 4 yr olds - 1st graders are encouraged to sit with their families for the first part of the worship service. After our announcement time, they are invited to go to Children’s Church on the Preschool Hallway. This time consists of a Bible Story, a craft or coloring page, songs, and play.
Worship bags are located at each Sanctuary entrance with printed material correlating with the sermon for those in 2nd grade and older.

Sunday Bible Study
We offer weekly Bible Study for our 3 yr olds - 6th grade. We have wonderful volunteers who work in pairs to teach the wonderful truths of God's Word to our children.
Class Locations:
- Babies and Toddlers in room 104 in the Preschool Wing
- 3-5 year olds meet in room 106
- 1st & 2nd graders meet in room 220
- 3rd & 4th graders meet in room 222
- 5th & 6th graders meet in room 221
Mission Groups - Midweek
On Wednesday nights, our children learn about missions around the world and the missionaries who are in the field, as well as Bible lessons to help build the foundations of faith.
Meeting Locations: - Mission Friends: 4 yr olds - Kindergarten in room 105 in the Preschool Wing
- Girls in Action: 1st - 3rd in room 219 on the second floor children's hall
4th - 6th in room 225 on the second floor children's hall - Royal Ambassadors: 1st - 6th grade in room 222 on the second floor children's hall
Summer Bible Study
Every summer we have a special themed Bible Study for our 4 yr olds - 6th grade. It is often compared to a summer long Vacation Bible School where we have Bible Study, craft and game centers, snack, and recreation.
