Music Ministry
Music at First Baptist is an integral part of worship, encouraging participation for all ages and seeking to glorify God with our voices and instrumental praise offerings. We have choir, praise team, and handbells for adults and youth, plus annual music festivals as a few of the opportunities to serve at First Baptist with your God - given talents. Adult Music Ministry:
Praise Team
Our multigenerational praise team helps to lead worship on Sunday mornings in the 8:30 service. Practice is on Wednesdays from 6:15 - 7:15 in the Choir Suite, room 111. We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to sing or play instruments!
Sanctuary Choir
Our Sanctuary Choir helps lead worship on Sunday mornings in the 11:00 service. Practice is on Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:00 in the Sanctuary. Come join us in lifting up your voice to worship God!
Sanctuary Handbells
Our Sanctuary Handbells help lead worship during the 11:00 service several times throughout the year. Practice is on Sundays from 6:30 - 7:15 in the Choir Suite, room 111.
Children's Music Ministry:
Cherub Choir
Our Cherub choir consists of all children aged 4 - Kindergarten. The cherub choir helps lead in worship two or three times a year and practices together on Sundays from 5:30 - 6:30 in room 105 in the preschool wing.
Children's Choir
Our Children's Choir helps lead worship two or three times a year, as well as in our yearly Christmas musical. This is for all children 1st - 6th grades. Practice is on Sundays from 5:30 - 6:30 in the choir suite, room 111.
Children's Handbells
Our Children's Handbells help lead worship several times throughout the year. Practice is on Sundays from 5:00 - 5:30 in the Choir Suite, room 111.
